Sri Sri Sri Shiridi Sai Baba Prasanthi Ashramam was located in Palangi village, Undrajavaram mandal in the year 1996. Mohammad Sardar (BABA) who was residing in Eluru was the founder chairman of this temple. Mohammad Sardar (BABA) was a deep devotee to Lord Shiridi Sai Baba. As his devotion on Sai Baba, he was able to give predictions for people. In 1996 this “SamadhanPrakriya” is started by Mohammad Sardar (BABA) and continued to the year 2012. As Sai devotees got great belief on this “SamadhanPrakriya”, so many devotees were coming to Mohammad Sardar (BABA) house at Tanuku. In this regard Mohammad Sardar (BABA) became famous among Sai Devotees on one day Gamini Ramakrishna @ Dattudu who belongs to Palangi village, put a proposal to donate a vacant site for the purpose of house construction of Mohmmad Sardar (BABA) in palangi village. But Mohammad Sardar (BABA) denied to take that site as house construction purpose, but further proposed Gamini Ramakrishna @ Dattudu to give the site for Shiridi Sai Baba Mandir. Unfortunately Ramakrishna passed away. After his death, his elder brother named Gamini Venkata Rama Hanumantha Rao, and his family members fulfilled the promise of Ramakrishna. In the year 1996 Sri SriSri Shirdi Saibaba PrashanthiAshramam Foundation Stone was laid down by Gamini Veera Venkata Satya Bhaskara Rao and his family dated 01st January, 1996. As this exercise is done by seva ashram volunteers and devotees to collect donations, ashram building was completed in the year 1998. On 4th of June 1998 Sai Baba VigrahaPrathista Programme is performed by Brahma Sri Challa Rama Ganapathi Prasada Sastry, resident of Rajahmundry as per norms of VaidikaAagama Sastra.

On:12:1999, A Trust Board was constituted by Sri Mohmmed Sardar (Baba) duly appointing himself as Founder Chairman, and all the Devotee Volunteers were appointed as Trustees in the said Trust Board.

The Trust Deed drafted by the Baba Devotees
1. Sri.Mandarapu Balaji Rao, Advocate and 2.Sri.Jonnalagadda Subrahmanyam, Autitor of Tanuku and same was also registered in the Office of the Sub-Registrar, Tanuku, Vide Registered Deed No: 4338/99.

Ashrama Gopuram was constructed in the year 2000 and that inauguration was done by famous movie actress Sri Raghumudra Sri Hari and his wife Santhi on date 13th April 2000. This inauguration is done by SrimanKhandavalli Ramana Babu as per norms of VaikhanasaAagama Sastra.

The vacant site opposite to Sai Mandir is donated by Chandana Ramesh, Rajahmundry and it was registered to Sri SriSriShiridi Sai Baba Prasathi Ashrama Seva Samaj Trust. Building was constructed in the vacant site by Sri SriSriShiridi Sai Baba Prasathi Ashrama Seva Samaj Trust. Major donors for this building was Sri Chandana Ramesh, Smt. & Sri Pinisetti Gangadhara Rao, Smt.Subbalaxmi of Palangi Village and Dr.TanigundalaJayaprakasa Reddy of TadepalliGudem.

Foundation stone was laid by Sri Yakkala Satya Prasad and Satya Bharathi, relative of Sri Chandana Ramesh. Finally this R.C.C. building (Sri Sai Adhyathmika Seva Nilayam) was inaugurated by High Court Former Justice and A.P. State Consumers Redressel Committee Chairman Hon’ble Justice Penmetsa Rama Krishnam Raju on date 30th March 2004.

At SaiPatham, Lord Abhaya Anjaneya Swamy standing Statue of 12ft is established with the donation of Shanmukha Vijaya Kumar Raju S/o. Sri Shanmuka Anjaneya Raju and NekkantiMuthya Parvathi and Vara Prasad. VigrahaPrathista performed by Bhrama Sri Josyula Siva RamaKrishna as per norms of VaidikaAgamam on 14th, June, 2009.

Anna Prasadavitarana has been doing in this RCC building for several years, In between Sai Mandir and Adhyatmika Seva Nilayam. One Permanent Roofed Shelter was established and named as “Sai Patham”. This was in-Inaugurated MadicharlaVenkateshwarRao ,Surpanch of Palangi Village on 27th July, 2009.

In 2010 The said Ashramam Temple Interior Elevation was renovated by constructing Mukhamandapam at outside the temple with sponsorship of Sri. Sunkara Anil and Smt. Sunkara Mahalakshmi of Hyderabad and other devotee donors. Lord Maha Ganapathi and Lord Dattatreya Vigrahams lying inside the temple were made Punahprathista was performed by Brahmasri Anantha Padmanabhacharyulu as per norms of Viakhanasa Agama Sasthra.

On 6th August, 2012 Sri Mohammad Sardar (Baba) passed away. After his death, Nagoor Basha, elder son of Md.Sardar(Baba) taken charge as Chairman of of the said Trust as per the Trust Deed. Nithya pooja with four types of Harathis viz., 1.KakadaHarathi, 2.Madhyanna Harathi, 3. Sandhya Harathi, 4. Sage Harathi has been performing since the date of Ashram was established. Vijayadasami, Ugadi, Sri Rama Navami, Datta Jayanthi has been performing as one day spiritual Celebrations. On the eve of all these days, “Anna Samaradhana” has been doing with lot of Spiritual Interest.

Shashwatha Nidhi has established with 4 Lakh 40 thousand so far, Interest on this fund proposed to be spent for Ashramam Activities. We hope this fund will be raised to the most extent with the help of Sai Devotees. All Devotees will be blessed by the Lord Sai baba.
